WHAT IS OUR ROLE?
Our members are committed to three priorities: supporting FFA students, supporting FFA advisors, and telling the FFA story.

Troy FFA Alumni & Supporters are enabled to be the voice and organized voting power for our local agriculture education program. The local movement is focused on building community support. This goal involves everyone who makes decisions about how to support agriculture education – including legislators, local businesses, school boards, other teachers, and all members of the community. To succeed we must lead!
VOLUNTEER

Assist the local FFA program by volunteering to serve as Career and Leadership Development coaches, mentors, helpers and chaperones in preparation for student competitions and events. Volunteer for our alumni and supporters chapter by participating in fundraisers, leadership, and other activities.

ADVOCATE

Recruit and retain community members to serve as a member of our chapter to provide support of FFA members and their continued success. Members continue to assist in preparing students for leadership, personal growth, and career opportunities and promote the personal development of the FFA and FFA Alumni and Supporters members and volunteers.
MENTOR

Connect students to local agricultural professionals and other opportunities to aid in agricultural education and student successes. Offer to share your experiences in the local classroom or consider hiring a member to work in your business for their Supervised Agricultural Experience.
DONATE

Maintain a budget, coordinate fundraising activities, and contribute to the local FFA chapter and its members through gifts of financial assistance.
SUPPORT AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR
Assist, encourage, and support the local agricultural education instructor by arranging and contributing resources to enhance the interactivity of the educational classroom.
